ITI is seeking a Policy Coordinator, Europe to join their European Policy team. This opportunity is located at ITI’s office in Brussels, Belgium.

About the position

As the Coordinator of Policy, you will support ITI’s Europe office with organization and execution of all programs and activities such as coordinating weekly communications activities, meeting preparation and logistics, and coordinating meeting requests and speaker invitations with the rest of the EU team. You will also work closely with ITI's global policy team in Washington, DC.


Main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and anticipating relevant policy and regulatory developments in Brussels and the Member States;
  • Conducting legislative research and analysis of issues that impact members;
  • Researching, compiling, curating, and distributing ITI Europe internal and external weekly and monthly updates in a timely and thorough manner;
  • Providing meeting support for the Europe Committee meetings, including scheduling, participation, meeting space and logistics, meeting operations including read-ahead materials, meeting notes and action items;
  • Providing meeting support for internal and external events, including meeting promotion, assisting in speaker identification, recruitment, confirmation and follow up, and meeting logistics and operations;
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the Europe team submissions to the ITI policy tracker spreadsheet;
  • Supporting the development of strategic and tactical approaches to policy and regulatory issues in Brussels and the Member States;
  • Providing regional and policy subject area support as needed, including as needed travel;
  • Working closely with both ITI’s SVP and Managers of Policy in the Brussels office, and with colleagues in Washington, DC, and acting as a resource for information and engagement for our member companies in Europe.


  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in public administration, public policy, political science, law, business, or a related field preferred;
  • Understanding of the EU policy context (including but not limited to ICT) and understanding of the key policy issues affecting the tech industry at both EU and national levels;
  • Full professional proficiency in English and another European language; good knowledge of either (or both) German or French;
  • Highly motivated, committed, with extreme professionalism and reliability;
  • Exceptional attention to accuracy, detail, and follow-up;
  • Trusted team player with the demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced advocacy organization;
