Do you know how to excite people about one common goal: saving missing children? Are you ambitious, persistent, and diplomatic? Then we have a unique and exciting challenge for you!
About AMBER Alert Europe
AMBER Alert Europe, the European Centre for Missing Children, is a foundation that strives to improve the protection of missing children and empower children by raising awareness on the issue of missing children and its root causes. We connect experts from 44 governmental organisations, in particular ministries of the interior and police forces, and non-governmental organisations from 28 European countries. Our activities cover prevention and awareness-raising, training, research, and child alerting, as well as launching initiatives aimed at impacting national and EU policies and legislation in the area of children’s rights.
As Project Proposal Writer for EU funding, you actively create a coherent EU funding strategy based on AMBER Alert Europe’s strategic plan: the Common European Approach on Missing Children – Missing Persons and the ensuing projects. You manage, coordinate, and lead the search for funding and tender opportunities, as well as prepare the application and justification documentation from initial draft to submission. After submission, you manage the process leading up to the awarding of the grant in cooperation with our partners. Following the awarding, you will lead the project, report milestones, and share the success with our partners.
