Carnegie Europe, the European policy research center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking a full-time Development and Fundraising Assistant to join the development team in its Brussels office. The development team is responsible for Carnegie Europe's strategic development and fundraising.
The selected candidate is expected to assist with a wide range of fundraising related and administrative tasks. Duties will include general administrative support; overseeing prospect and donor research; pipeline and moves management for a portfolio of 80-100 prospects, contributing to the expansion of Carnegie Europe's stakeholder database; drafting proposals, reports, and summaries for current and potential projects; supporting the expansion of the Carnegie Europe Advisory Council and assisting in all Carnegie Europe Advisory Council related activities (virtual briefs, meetings, etc.).
This position requires a university degree and native or near-native level English. Candidates must be living in or able to work full-time in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have an interest in European and international affairs, the ability to work well as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, be flexible towards changing priorities, and excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of Salesforce and fluency in other EU languages are desired but not essential.
