Position description


  • Coordinating the work of the CEFS Communications Task Force and Social Questions Working Group;
  • Producing communications material for external audiences and leading holistic communications campaigns (next up: EU elections);
  • Preparing press statements and maintaining a network of journalists;
  • Organising events such as our annual barbecue and various policy events (2-3 per year);
  • Coordinating Sectoral Social Dialogue meetings with the European Federation of Trade Unions in the Food, Agriculture and Tourism.


  • A Master’s degree in political science, communications or a related discipline;
  • 1-3 years of experience working within EU institutions, a trade association or consultancy;
  • Excellent oral and written English skills. Fluency in German would be an asset;
  • Experience with tools such as Canva (or willingness to learn them);
  • Personal: great networker and communicator; pro-active self-starter willing to expand the role; solution-oriented client/member-facing attitude.


  • A full-time CDI (40 hours/week) with competitive salary;
