Position description

This role will require frequent travel to Ukraine, including potentially for extended periods.

We are looking for:

An experienced communications professional to lead Oxfam’s Ukraine humanitarian response communications portfolio, who cares about Oxfam's mission and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal person for the role will have:

  • Experience developing communications strategies in advocacy and influencing programmes
  • Understanding of humanitarian issues and knowledge of the role of NGOs in humanitarian and advocacy work
  • Experience of writing articles, press releases, communication material productions including print and audio-visuals, and experience of providing media interview/ briefings.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
