Position description

Carbon Bombs are the more than 400 biggest oil, gas and coal projects globally, which could each emit more than 1 gigatonne of CO2 over their lifetime. Defusing them is imperative to avoid runaway climate change. While the UK has only one of these projects within the country’s border, many UK companies and financial institutions are involved in carbon bombs overseas.

The UK-based Project Coordinator will activate and support climate movement actors in the UKto build opposition towards the extraction of these gigantic projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time project coordinator who will help make the carbon bombs framing mainstream in the climate movement and, through this, contribute to the effort to stop the biggest fossil fuel projects.
