POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Strategy and UN Affairs and help advance projects of the USCIB Foundation (the SVP serves as its Executive Director). This role provides essential administrative and project management support, ensuring smooth operations across key initiatives, including initiatives of USCIB’s UN relations and of the USCIB Foundation The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills, a keen interest in international policy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and initiatives related to the SVP Global Strategy and UN Affairs.
  • Manage the SVP’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, agenda development, speaker invitations, and material preparation.
  • Assist with expense reporting, budgeting, and invoice processing.
  • Track key projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Support research, data analysis, and report drafting for strategic initiatives.
  • Manage databases and maintain accurate records of program activities.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Work with USCIB Foundation consultants as appropriate and assist in the planning and execution of foundation programs and events.
  • Identify and help prepare grant proposals and other fundraising activities
  • Liaise with funders, board members, and key stakeholders of the USCIB Foundation.
  • Develop communications and outreach materials for USCIB Foundation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in policy analysis, private foundations, program management, or a similar role, preferably in an internationally oriented nonprofit setting.
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience with private foundation on project management, grant proposal preparation and related communications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range for this role is between $60,000 and $75,000 annually with an additional discretionary bonus option. USCIB offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement company matching program, generous paid time off, and the ability to participate in pre-tax transportation, and flexible spending account programs. USCIB currently requires in-office work Tuesday – Thursday, with WFH option on Mondays and Fridays.
