Established in 1964, the African Development Bank is the premier pan-African development institution, promoting economic growth and social progress across the continent. It has 80 member countries, including 54 in Africa. The Bank’s development agenda is delivering the financial and technical support for transformative projects that will significantly reduce poverty through inclusive and sustainable economic growth. To focus the objectives of the Bank’s Ten Year Strategy (2013-2022) and to ensure greater developmental impact, five major areas - all of which will accelerate our delivery for Africa - have been identified for scaling up. These are energy, agro-business, industrialization, regional integration, and improving the quality of life for the people of Africa.

In particular, you will be skilled at engaging the media, experienced in implementing and evaluating mass communication campaigns, and adept at detecting emerging interest in key issues. Finally, it is vital that you have a proven track record in senior management, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
