About the job

The post is based in Brussels and you will be expected to provide excellent administrative support within the legal team of the NCI Agency. The Legal Office protects the interests of the NCI Agency in legal matters and ensures that its activities and decisions comply with the applicable legal framework.

You will be responsible for managing your work with accuracy and discretion, assisting our legal office staff, ensuring that written communications meet the appropriate standard, following processes of the Legal Office and ensuring its efficiency.

About you

We are looking for a service-oriented professional who enjoys being part of a dynamic team. As Senior Administrative Assistant (Legal), we expect you to have as a minimum higher vocational training and 2 years of relevant experience. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

The required technical competencies include e.g. the preparation and finalization of documents, text editing and proofreading, secretarial work, use of office software, including experience with SharePoint. Demonstrated experience in progressively responsible administrative jobs, e.g. in international organizations or law firms.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
