This position is located in the Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Enforcement & Compliance (E & C), Washington, D.C.
This is an entry-level position serving as an International Trade Compliance Analyst (ITCA) with the Enforcement and Compliance Unit. ITCAs remedy unfair trade practices by conducting investigations to analyze selling practices of foreign companies and/or subsides granted by foreign governments to determine the appropriate offsetting customs duties.

Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below.
Minimum Qualifications; GS-07:
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service that included experience:
OR one full year of graduate level education; OR meet the requirements under the superior academic achievement provision; OR a combination of the required experience and education for this grade level.
Minimum Qualifications, GS-09:
You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal government, performing the following duties:
OR two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree; or a combination of the required experience and education for this grade level.
Minimum Qualifications, GS-11:
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal government, performing the following duties:
OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or a combination of the required experience and education for this grade level.
