Position description

The Department of Government seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in Political Science, with a strong preference for scholars specializing in American Politics and/or Quantitative Methods. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2022. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are encouraged to apply by October 1, 2021; applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. 

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or terminal degree in Political Science or related disciplines required by the time the appointment begins. 

Additional Qualifications

Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired.
