About the Team
Do you want to join a multifaceted environment and witness your work to improve decision across various partners? The Threat Intelligence team at Workday sources, evaluates, and analyzes both internal as well as external data, providing critical insight to a variety of security and business teams. We recognize the need to perform detailed analysis while meeting the challenge to scale to the business' needs. We are a core function of the overall Detection, Response and Vulnerability Management organization at Workday that helps keep the company and its customer data safe every day.
About the Role
As a senior threat intelligence engineer, you are leading intelligence analysis and strategy effort to support Workday and partners to collaborate and build effective capability to reduce risk. You are data-driven in your quest to improve security program using quantitative feedback. You share timely intelligence on emerging threat and technique to relevant teams.
You are first an excellent partner, then having boundless curiosity about using data for good, and has the passion to research and identify emerging threats that matter!
Experience developing and delivering intelligence products to support a diversity of teams (from Operational to Strategic partners)
An understanding in current affairs, and international relations, evidenced by an understanding of geopolitical dynamics as they relate to state-sponsored intelligence operations.
An understanding of the intelligence cycle, analysis methodologies, and processes.
4+ years of proven abilities in a few of the topics; IR triage, intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessment, security engineering or security operations
Develop and mentor staffs in threat analysis, security operations and partner engagements
Experience using common intelligence concepts and standards (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, intelligence lifecycle)
Expertise prioritizing customer experience, reviewing feedback, hosting discussion to proactively address the needs of the customer
Social Media and/or Open Source Intelligence gathering and/or analysis
Enthusiastic about new emerging topics in security/intelligence, data science and/or machine learning
Commitment to maintain domain proficiency and professional network with our partners and other interest groups
