Job Summary:

We are seeking to identify qualified Program Officer and Specialist candidates, for immediate and upcoming positions in Procurement, Payroll, Information Technology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Recruitment, Program Management, and Finance. These positions are based in IRI’s Washington, D.C. Headquarters where there is a flexible and hybrid work environment.


  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of professional experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization.
  • Undergraduate degree in any relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks of competing priority with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including use of databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, including SharePoint.
  • Prior experience coordinating activities that require input from a variety of sources.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Relevant country, cultural, or legislative, experience preferred.
  • Second Language Fluency encouraged (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, etc.).
  • CFR 200.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
