Position description
Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry. We are the source of information on mineral fertilizers and the sector’s voice in Europe. We deal with questions related to agriculture, environment, technology, safety, economy and trade, as well as supporting our members with statistics and other information.
What will you do?
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies and stakeholder engagement plans to advance EU fertilizer industry’s priorities;
- Establish and maintain relationships with EU policy makers, relevant trade association and NGOs;
- Monitor, analyse and react to relevant EU policy and regulatory developments;
- Coordinate efforts and advise members on policy, regulatory and political developments affecting their business operations;
- Enhance Fertilizers Europe’s brand as the go-to trade association for plant nutrition-related matters;
- Follow scientific debates on climate and other relevant issues of concerns;
- Ensure involvement and recognition of the industry among stakeholders.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- European University degree in Political Science, International Relations, European Studies, EU Affairs, EU Law, or Public Policy;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brussels, with a focus on EU public relations/lobbying;
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and align multiple stakeholders;
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), other EU languages are a plus;
- Results-oriented mindset: you thrive on targets, are motivated by success, and show resilience in the face of challenges.
