Position description
We are looking for a Junior Business Development Officer to join our Events & Sales Team in a leading European advocacy organisation where you can make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of sustainable/wind energy.
You will be responsible for exhibition and sponsorship sales at WindEurope large and small events, including administrative follow-up. You will report to the Head of Events Sales.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the achievement of exhibition and sponsorship sales targets;
- Take care of daily administrative tasks related to the sales;
- Manage the sales inbox;
- Assist in developing sales and sponsorship packages;
- Represent WindEurope at internal and external events to promote and sell events.
This position requires occasional travelling.
Qualifications
Mindset
- Ability to work well within and across teams;
- Excellent organisational & time-management skills;
- Good analytical skills;
- Customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude.
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, administration, marketing or related field;
- Relevant experience (internship or job) in a sales environment.
Software
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software is a plus.
Languages
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Any other language is an asset.
