Position description

The Partnership for Countering Influence Operations project, part of the Technology and International Affairs program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is seeking to hire an Editorial and Communications Coordinator. 

The successful candidate will liaise between the project's staff, scholars, partners and the editorial team in Washington, DC, on short- and long-form content; facilitate scholars' research and writing projects; and work with scholars and partners in the project's network. The Editorial and Communications Coordinator will also be responsible for the project's social media, website, producing and distributing project mailings to digital subscribers, and drafting and proofreading other materials.

Native or near-native command of English is required. Prior familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style is preferred. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and interest in influence operations and demonstrated experience in editing a variety of written content. The successful candidate should also be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, who is highly organized and capable of multitasking and managing multiple deadlines. The ability to work well with others in a cross-cultural and professional office environment is essential. Experience working with university professors on research publications would be beneficial.
