LYKKE ADVICE is a start-up consultancy based in Belgium and created in 2016. Our focus is on providing public affairs advice to companies and associations. We are specialised in EU policies. We are looking for a dynamic and independent consultant who is willing to work in different areas within EU public affairs.

  • Monitor and analyse EU agenda and programmes;
  • Develop lobby strategies and assist in their implementation;
  • Create and maintain a network of contacts at EU level;
  • Set up and participate in bilateral meetings, conferences and working groups with key stakeholders, EU Commission and European Parliament;
  • Help to develop content for newsletter and website;
  • Develop policy papers, amendments to legislation, answers to public consultations etc.


  • Quick learner, ability to grasp complex concepts rapidly;
  • University level education (Master’s degree), preferably in an area related to European Studies, political science or law;
  • 1-2 years of experience working in public affairs or at EU institutions as e.g. intern;
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English – other languages is an asset;
  • Strong research and analysis skills;
  • Team-player, proactive and inquisitive mindset;
  • Ability to work individually;
  • Familiar with Microsoft software such as Word, PowerPoint; Excel.


The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and should able to start in the job 15th of December 2020. It is a full-time position in a temporary contract for 4 months with possibility to prolong. You will be offered a salary package of 3000 EUR Gross and extra benefits of meal vouchers, mobile phone + subscription and monthly train ticket. This is the ideal position for a candidate wishing to move from the EU institutions to the private sector.
