EuroMed Rights is looking to recruit an experienced Project Senior Coordinator for a European Union-funded project aimed at enhancing and structuring dialogue between the EU and South Neighbourhood civil society. The name of the project is Majalat, which stands for ‘spaces, opportunities, fields and domains’ in Arabic.
Duration: Fixed term contract of one year with possibility of renewal
Starting: February 2023
Hybrid work: Telecommuting possible up to 3 days a week
Remuneration: Competitive remuneration based on salary scales and extra-legal benefits (complementary pension, hospitalisation insurance, lunch vouchers, internet, teleworking and commuting to work intervention)
Pre-requisite: Valid EU working permit – candidates without a working permit will not be considered

In short, MAJALAT is a unique initiative led by civil society organisations from the North and South of the Mediterranean that aims to build a continuous exchange between the EU and Civil Society from ten countries in the South of the Mediterranean, in continuity with previous EU structured dialogues. EuroMed Rights is the coordinator of a consortium implementing this ambitious project composed by the following partners that also constitute the project Board: Forum for Alternatives Morocco (FMAS), and Legal Agenda in Lebanon.

The Majalat Project Senior Coordinator will undertake the following tasks, under the supervision of the Director of dialogue and with the support of a coordinator based in Tunisia and two support officers based in Tunisia and Lebanon that he/she will supervise:
