Global Workplace Security Programs is an enterprise-wide team that is on the cutting-edge of mitigating threats posed by workplace violence and imminent threat through educating employees, identifying and analyzing trends, providing expert opinions during threat assessments, professionalizing enterprise-wide security personnel to address threats, alter training to address regional threats and government policies to fit the specific global market. 


A Day in the Life… 

  • Assists in researching and analyzing current trends and recent events involving workplace violence and imminent threats
  • Supports overall team data collection initiatives
  • Works in a collaborative manner in brainstorming training development
  • Assists in managing enterprise-wide online learning in the areas of workplace violence and imminent threat
  • With management oversight, coordinates internal and external meetings and helps prepare presentations and agendas
  • Assists in creating content and analysis for team bi-monthly newsletter
  • With management assistance, work with Learning and Development to assist in development of new training videos


Basic Qualifications

  • Superior writing and research skills
  • Interest in strategic violence prevention through the threat assessment team process
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Superior organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
  • International travel/education/work experience
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Basic awareness of video production process and script writing
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Team player who consistently places team achievement above individual success

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Law, Criminology, International Relations, Homeland Security or a closely related field

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Law, Criminology, International Relations, Homeland Security or a closely related field
