Position description

Join BAE Systems’ Intelligence and Security sector and be a part of a team who provides critical intelligence research and analysis that helps keep our country safe. We are searching for a Watchlisting Officer to provide high-value counter-terrorism analysis for an important government customer. In this role, you will:  

  • Analyze individual and team performance for all research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, production and dissemination of Terrorist Identity Nominations (TINs) supporting the Watchlisting mission in fulfillment of the DoD component of Homeland Security Presidential Directives.
  • Conduct risk analysis the DIA Watchlisting mission and provide mitigation strategies to the US Government customer concerning inter-agency approaches to National Security Policy. 
  • Provide detailed data analysis on Watchlisting production rates and prepare action plans associated with personnel and workflow changes.
  • Serve as primary contact for the US Government customer concerning all DIA Watchlisting mission operations, processes and policies. 

Typical Education & Experience 
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education 

The successful candidate must enjoy working both independently and in a team setting, receiving input from others, and must be able to concisely explain complex topics in person, e-mail, and briefings. The candidate must have experience producing original all-source analysis from unevaluated/raw classified data by fusing all major intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, etc). The candidate must have a working knowledge of Intelligence Community reporting methods, experience with various message handling systems, and Microsoft Office. A degree in a related discipline (International Relations/Security, Terrorism) is also a plus.

Preferred Skills and Education 

Bachelor or Master’s degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training & 4-8 years’ intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience.
