About the role
As Programme Officer your primary responsibilities will be to manage one or more of the department's projects, which includes planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting project activities, following agreements with donors and CRD standards & procedures.
You will also identify, assess, and propose new activities and partnerships relevant for the local and regional context, monitor and analyse the human rights situation where the Latin America department works, as well as contribute to the advocacy work of Civil Rights Defenders. Currently, we work in Colombia, Cuba and Venezuela and will during 2021 expand to several countries in Central America.

About the employment
This is a full-time employment on a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, starting in March 2021 or according to an agreement. As an organisation, we strive for diversity, and we see your background, experience and personality as a contribution to the organisation.
