Do you have technical ability and knowledge in the use of data mining and analytic tools such as MS Power BI, Adobe Analytics, MS Excel, Visual Studio?

We are looking for an Insights & Intelligence Executive at a pivotal time of transition and change for the organisation.

 

 

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

In this role, you will be providing operational reports and analysis of CRM data to support the needs of the business, improve Oxfam GB's understanding of its audiences, and enable evidence-based decision-making across the Engagement division.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • An understanding of analytical concepts and business statistics. Some knowledge of statistical testing and modelling techniques (such as regression). An appetite to learn new professional skills such as machine learning.
  • Technical ability and knowledge in the use of data mining and analytic tools such as MS Power BI, Adobe Analytics, MS Excel, Visual Studio,
  • Knowledge of database querying languages (SQL / U-SQL), database structures and data management best practice. Some knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (MS Azure)
  • Able to work in an organised way, to plan own time, and adapt and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail, using analytical skills to identify patterns, gaps/errors and opportunities.
  • Attention to detail, to ensure communications and reports are accurate and of high-quality.
  • Some experience of managing projects, including tracking progress against targets
