LYKKE ADVICE is a boutique consultancy based in Belgium and established in 2016. Our focus is on providing public affairs advice primarily to SMEs and trade associations. We specialise in EU policies and how to influence them. Our clients span across multiple sectors – e.g., agriculture, sustainable development, energy, transport and public health. ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic intern who is willing to learn and contribute to our small team by working with clients across varying sectors and get a grasp of public affairs at EU level. We are looking for an intern with a particular interest in the fields of EU public affairs, fashion and sustainability policies.

TASKS

  • Help clients to monitor, provide research and analyse relevant policies at the EU level;
  • Help research and write opinions on relevant EU discussions for our website;
  • Manage Lykke Advice’s social media – especially Twitter and LinkedIn;
  • Help clients with data collection and processing and analysis;
  • Attend relevant events on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

  • Quick learner, ability to grasp complex concepts rapidly;
  • A relevant University-level education (master's degree) e.g. EU Studies, Communication or International Relations;
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English – other languages are an asset;
  • Strong research and analysis skills;
  • Team-player, proactive and inquisitive mindset;
  • Ability to work individually;
  • Familiar with Microsoft software such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Familiar with CANVA;
  • Familiar with LinkedIn and Twitter;
  • Basic skills in graphic design, animation and/or video are an asset.

The internship will run from the 2nd of September 2024 to the 28th of February 2025 (6 months). We offer you a possibility to learn, engage and get a network in Brussels to build on for the future. The contract will be a convention d’immersion professionelle.
