Within this key role in our Brussels, EU Liaison Office, you will ensure our research and advocacy work is strengthened with robust evidence and an understanding of relevant policy developments at national level in countries across the European region. You will provide project management to Community Living for Europe, Structural Funds Watch, an initiative which monitors the implementation of the commitments of the EU to spend key funds on the transition from institutional to community based care.
You will establish links and build relationships with national and European stakeholders to inform policy development to support programmes linked to deinstitutionalisation and ensure information is shared in a strategic and structured way as well as supporting Lumos country teams with all EU related issues.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have knowledge and understanding of EU Funding mechanisms and policy making processes, you will be highly organised, have strong research, analytical and drafting skills, and have significant, demonstrable experience in a policy, campaigning, advocacy or research role. The ability to co-ordinate activates from multiple locations and experience of working in social affairs, human rights or International development funding is required.
