Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Intern to join the Technology Services Intern Program.  This position will be located in McLean, VA.

The qualified applicant will support our client’s operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to processes that shape government policy.

 Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2019.

  • Be majoring in a cyber related degree.

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile). 

  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2019. 

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.  (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.75/4.0 cumulative GPA
  • Majoring in or have majored in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
  • Prior internship experience
  • Possess excellent analytical skills
  • Be able to multi task with a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data and information, and work several tasks concurrently independently and as part of a team
  • Be very detail oriented, able to communicate details clearly and effectively verbally (daily communication and in presentations) as well as in writing 
  • Ability to simultaneously manipulate multiple sets of data to derive inputs for targeting packages
