NOW! is a global movement pushing for humanity to work as One to solve the biggest challenges of our time. Launched on January 1st, 2020, we already count thousands of members in over 109 countries, and launched campaigns on many transnational topics, from democracy to climate change. 


NOW! is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead its communication efforts across the world. The social media manager will be responsible for pushing the movement’s messages forward and communicating the campaigns to the wider world.  

This position will expose the person to a highly dynamic work environment in which they will have the opportunity to leave their mark on the organization, being part of a global movement in its start-up phase. The selected person will have the opportunity to grow in the organization.


  • Grow NOW!’s audience by creating engaging and disruptive content for all social media channels, 
  • Advance NOW!’s campaigns and messages through social media channels,
  • Work with members from all across the globe to ensure that all communication is relevant to their situation, coordinate messages and share their work,
  • Assist on the campaign messaging work, and
  • Together with the rest of the team, implement a social media strategy 
  • [If of interest] Develop a public profile to represent the organization

We are just asking that you worked in the past, whether formally or informally, and that you can show some social media skills (even for your own personal ones)!


  • Social Media Management skills:
  • Experience in managing multiple social media 
  • Track-record in growing the platforms (personal or professional)
  • Ability to create original and thumb-stopping social media content, such as GIFs, memes, Reels, and graphics
  • Ability to communicate in an engaging and clear manner on the topics we tackle,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and at least another language 
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and work independently as well as a team member
  • Clear interest and passion for making the world a better place by uniting people across borders, and having fun along the way.
  • [Ideal but not required] Photo editing and/or video-making skills

Visas: we will unfortunately not be able to provide or help with visas to work in the United Kingdom. 

Duration of contract: this is a fixed-term, full-time 9 months contract, with 3 months of probation period. Dependent on funding, there will be the possibility to make it a long-term contract.

Gross salary: £25,000-30,000/year, based on experience
