Position description

Global Canopy is a data-driven not for profit that targets the market forces destroying nature. We do this by improving transparency and accountability. We provide innovative open-access data, clear metrics, and actionable insights to leading companies, financial institutions, governments and campaigning organisations worldwide. 

This newly created and varied  role is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation and contribute to tackling the climate crisis and destruction of nature. We are looking for a top flight Office Coordinator who will be central to the smooth and effective operation of our Oxford office and ensure organisational systems and infrastructure are maintained to enable our team to work productively. 

The Office Coordinator will work closely with and report to the COO, collaborate with the Accounts team and provide administrative support for the Executive Coordinator. This role has a regular presence in our office, with a preference for the role holder to attend at least 4 days per week. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements in other aspects.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as an Office Manager / Office Coordinator or similar preferred  
  • Experience with managing suppliers and building agents  
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to engage with and communicate clearly with colleagues across the organisation
  • Health & Safety qualification desirable - training will be provided as needed
