Eurodiaconia is a European network of churches and Christian NGOs providing social and health care services and advocating for social justice. Together our membership represents the needs and unique experiences of 62 national and regional organisations in 32 countries.
Eurodiaconia creates a platform for diaconal actors to facilitate trans-national networking. It also creates a link between the regional, national and European levels, developing ideas and feeding into policies to combat social exclusion, isolation, poverty, injustice and inequalities.
The Head of Operations position is key for the ongoing development of our association. This is a key leadership role and you will work as part of the Senior Leadership team of the association alongside our Secretary General and other heads of team and have regular contact with our members across Europe.
You will be a problem-solver and strategic thinker, always looking to make people’s life easier. You enjoy leading on organisational processes, designing and implementing what’s needed for a smooth functioning of organisations. You excel at personal relations, are organised and attentive to details. You are proactive, flexible and embrace complexity. You can handle stress and uncertainty and you are familiar with our focus on social inclusion and rights.
You have experience in managing human resources, finance and budgeting; statutory matters and risk management. You feel comfortable leading on new internal policies and procedures from defining and setting up new legal structures and their updating to designing new working practices while minimising risk.
We offer a permanent contract, a salary in the region of 5000€ gross per month at 100%, DKV medical insurance, pension contribution, home working allowance and a generous holiday allowance.
