Job description

EPPA is looking for An Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to integrate its Agri-Food Practice Team, in which he/she will:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management and steering of client accounts, working in teams with the Account Director and/or Partner while becoming the reference point vis-à-vis clients;
  • Coordinate the work of account managers and/or executives in the Agri-Food area and in large accounts;
  • Actively advice clients in advocacy and engagement strategies in the field of food, agriculture, chemicals and sustainability;
  • Represent EPPA & its clients in meetings with third parties where needed, including with European Commission, European Parliament and Member States authorities;
  • Actively participate in conferences, forums, associations and/or trade bodies;
  • Support EPPA´s management in new business development efforts (preparation of proposals, presentations in pitches & conferences, etc.).

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in European public affairs, either in consultancies, in-house, legal firms, associations or public institutions;
  • Previous professional experience within the areas of food, agriculture, sustainability and chemicals;
  • Active team player with capacity to work in parallel accounts;
  • Capacity to manage & lead accounts under the supervision of Account Director or Partner;
  • Networker & team player within a multinational and multicultural environment;
  • Master´s Degree in Political Science, International Studies, European Studies, Law, etc.;
  • Fluent English, with additional mastering of third EU languages being a plus.
