The Peterson Institute for International Economics, a leading think tank located at Dupont Circle, Washington, DC, seeks a part-time Korean-speaking research analyst / consultant to work with Nonresident Senior Fellow Jean Pisani-Ferry on a working paper about the uncertainty of economic consequences of the green (climate) transition, decarbonization, and growth in South Korea.
Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing fine-grained data, producing charts and graphs for publication and presentations, writing literature reviews, and summarizing results.
Applicants should have a solid understanding and strong knowledge of dataset development and data management processes, proficiency with Stata and/or R, fluency in both Korean and English languages, good writing skills, and attention to detail.
