Responsibilities:
·The Research Analyst/Evaluator Level I shall be responsible for assisting antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) case and policy analysts in the conduct of AD/CVD investigations and administrative reviews, as well as any related inquiries, in the support of U.S. trade laws.
·Responsibilities will include:
o Performing analysis and research and implementing results to assist AD/CVD case and policy analysts (Federal Employees) in the discharge of investigative responsibilities; Assisting in the analysis and evaluation of data; Attendance at meetings, briefings, and AD/CVD hearings; Supporting E&C case and policy analysts in the preparation of recommendations for the disposition of assignments; and Responding to inquiries from internal and external customers, stakeholders and the public.
Required qualifications/skills:
·The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree in either business administration, international business, international relations, international affairs, international development, international political economy, law, or economics.
·While not mandatory, knowledge of foreign business practices and U. S. trade laws will be beneficial.
·Applicants must possess solid quantitative analysis and research skills, as well
as an ability to write well and work professionally in a team environment.
