Position Location - Remote (Home based) to be determined by the home country of the successful candidate in a jurisdiction (US state or country) where WVI is registered to operate.

Here’s where you come in:

As Livelihoods Knowledge Management, Capacity Building, and Communications Senior Advisor, you will optimize Livelihoods capability and knowledge management among World Vision (WV) entities, enabling Livelihoods staff and related teams to learn, grow, and deliver quality Livelihoods programming that impacts the most vulnerable children, and furthers the goals of the sector strategy. You will develop and implement a Livelihoods capability enhancement system (including guidelines, processes, competencies, learning assets and learning pathways) and support GC, SO, RO, and FO teams to plan and implement comprehensive Livelihoods competency and capability strengthening interventions.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s level or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Assistance or any related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant Knowledge Management (KM) experience with increasing responsibility and scope of role
  • At least 5 years of experience in a role that required clear, high quality communications content (not necessarily a formal Communications role)
  • At least 5 years of experience of working across different sectors or departments or offices in World Vision.
  • Language Requirements: English fluent Spanish or French – desirable
  • Work Environment/Travel: 10% travel.
