Salary range: $40,000 -$45,000 annual

Position Objectives: ISS-USA is looking for a highly motivated and organized Repatriation Case Manager to join our Repatriation team. Under supervision of the Program Manager and as a member of the case work team, this individual will be responsible in coordinating social services and resources to assist eligible repatriate clients to access resources available to meet their immediate needs through appropriate referrals with ISS/HHS’ partners throughout the U.S.

Qualifications: The ideal Case Manager candidate will be highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They must demonstrate excellent English communication and writing skills and have the ability to carry a reasonable caseload while meeting strict deadlines. A professional demeanor is required at all times, with the capacity to work effectively within a culturally diverse staff. The candidate should be reliable, flexible, and able to maintain a consistent schedule during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, International Relations, or a related field is required, with at least 3 years of related work experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is necessary, and prior case management experience is strongly preferred. Additional language skills will be considered a plus. Responsibilities:

  1. Manages assigned case load
  2. Establishes and maintains ongoing case records on all clients by adhering to program guidelines and expectations;
  3. Regularly updates all activities, telephone and email correspondences with partners and clients and uploads all signed forms and supporting documents in the Effort to Outcome (ETO) data base;
  4. Creates, builds, and maintains professional relationships with ISS/HHS partners;
  5. Facilitates and provides exchange of required information and documentations to partners in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality requirements;
  6. Provides program participants with appropriate information about the repatriation program
  7. Develops service and arrival plans for clients in collaboration with ISS/HHS partners
  8. Conducts regular follow-ups on all cases after the arrival of clients in the U.S.
  9. Prepares and submits monthly narratives of challenging cases to the Program Manager
  10. Meets with the Program Manager on a weekly basis to update case progresses and challenges
  11. Serves as a back-up for case Intake as needed as well as handling emergency cell per rotation
  12. Assist in preparing case statistics and narratives for management reports
  13. Coordinating, compiling vendor services and verifying that services providers (Escort, Ambulance etc.) are submitting requests documents in accordance with the purchase of service protocols
  14. Occasionally provides evening and weekend coverage as needed.
  15. Willingness to respond to urgent case situations after normal business hours.
  16. Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment;
  17. Perform all other tasks as assigned.
