Position description

The purpose of our next Project Coordinator will be to support specific areas of the Bridging Voices program which will contribute to business development for both the program and the wider Thought Leadership goals in the USA.

WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE
You should have:

  • Proven experience managing or supporting small to medium projects.
  • Previous experience leading or supporting events of different complexities and involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with diverse stakeholders, particularly in civil society but also with universities, NGOs, think tanks, research institutions and government entities.
  • Familiarity with US research landscape and an understanding of research methodologies and processes
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • English level C2 (on Common European Framework.

We work closely with Friends of the British Council, a 501c3, which can accept funding for British Council cultural relations activity globally as well as the USA and Americas region.

Bridging Voices is at the mid-point of a three-year program funded by the Henry R. Luce Foundation which provides grants to UK-US higher education consortia whose collaborations seek to address the future of religion, faith and belief in the public square in the US and UK. The program also supports a network of experts, practitioners, policymakers and academics working in the religion and international affairs space more broadly.
