Carnegie Europe, the European policy research center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking a full-time Communications Assistant to work in its Brussels office.
The selected candidate is expected to assist with a wide range of communications and administrative tasks. Duties will include general administrative support; maintaining Carnegie Europe's web and digital presence, particularly for publications and events; monitoring and evaluating analytics; supporting the organization of private and public conferences; and in general assisting in the development of Carnegie Europe's program and communications strategy.
This position requires a university degree and native or near-native level English. Candidates must be living in or able to work full-time in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have an interest in European and international affairs, competence in digital technologies, the ability to work well as part of a team, and excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of HTML and content management systems (CMS), experience with multimedia production, and fluency in other EU languages, especially French, are desired.
