As the research and analysis division of the Economist Group, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) helps leaders prepare for opportunity, empowering them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions. The EIU is the global standard in providing quality, actionable intelligence to the public and private sector, assessing issues that impact the marketplace for over two hundred countries. The Public Policy, Politics and Economics (PPEP) department is part of the research consultancy unit of the EIU, providing tailored engagements to meet the needs of clients across the corporate, government and institutional/non-profit sectors. Our evidence-based consulting solutions draw on our strengths in forecasting, cross-country analysis, policy, politics and macroeconomics, and typical engagements include evidence-based research for policy makers and stakeholders seeking measurable outcomes.
Currently, the EIU is seeking is a full-time intern for its New York office for the summer of 2017. Part-time arrangements may be considered. The internship opening is in the Public Policy, Politics and Economics (PPEP) division of its research consultancy unit.
