ABOUT THE POSITION: We're looking for a junior MENA analyst to support ongoing projects for government, financial sector, and multinational clients. You will join our team of regional and subject-matter experts, tackling complex investigations of illicit networks across the world.
You can expect to work on both independent and highly collaborative projects and to participate actively in briefings to clients and senior government officials. This is a fast-paced environment, where we often work to complete quick turn-around projects on client request; in addition to your hard skills, we will rely on your energy, initiative, and resourcefulness. You will have daily opportunities to utilize not only your foreign language and regional expertise, but also Sayari's proprietary technological platforms and public records datasets.
This is an opportunity to learn and apply advanced analytic tools and methodologies to pressing global challenges, from brand protection to counterproliferation to sanctions enforcement. Our team is small, and every member is essential. We expect you to contribute substantively to uncovering and examining illicit networks, and we will train and equip you for the task.
ABOUT SAYARI ANALYTICS: Founded in January 2015 by investigative journalists, data scientists, and former members of the US intelligence and regulatory communities, Sayari’s data, technology, and analytical services currently support a wide array of government, financial sector, and multinational clients in over a dozen countries on five continents. From export control enforcement to brand protection, and from free trade zones to war zones, Sayari powers cross-border and cross-lingual insight into customers, counterparties, and competitors.
We are accepting applications from candidates with an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, and preferably a Master's or 2+ years of relevant analytic experience. Given the global nature of our work, we require native or professional fluency in Arabic; additional proficiency in Farsi and/or other languages is welcomed.
