The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program.

We are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Strategic Analyst-Nation-State Team Lead, responsible for leading a team of analysts charged with monitoring open source and vendor reporting for potential threats that could impact the bank and providing timely and accurate strategic analysis to senior BAC decision makers.

The CTI Strategic Analyst - Nation-State Team Lead maintains an up-to-date understanding of the threats posed to BAC from nation-states, and assists the team with identifying potential indicators or warnings of a changing threat environment.  The position requires the analyst to be able to independently monitor, identify, and track current or developing threats from a variety of threat actors, while also leading a team of analysts covering high-threat regions.  Responsible for drafting well-written analytical assessments and providing briefings to GIS response teams, enterprise counterparts, and senior leadership on key issues.  The analyst must demonstrate exceptional organizational and cross-functional communication skills to work closely with other elements of GIS and elsewhere to integrate analysis from across the Enterprise.  The position requires the lead to mentor and develop other analysts on the team.  Works independently with assistance, direction and goal setting from the CTI Strategic Team Lead.

Qualifications

5-7 years of InfoSec experience tracking cyber threats from Nation-States. 

This is a hands-on role where the candidate will be involved in identifying and tracking cyber threats on a daily basis. As such, the candidate should exhibit a firm understanding of the cyber threat landscape.

The candidate should be knowledgeable of emerging technologies and trends and should be able to identify strategic trends that may impact the bank based on data from a wide variety of sources. This person must have an inquisitive mindset and be able to translate raw data into actionable intelligence.

In addition, this position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience presenting to executives.  Further, it is critical the candidate have experience leading and mentoring a team of intelligence analysts

Desired Skills:

College degree desired.  Advanced degree in International Affairs or similar field a strong plus. 

Technical or information security certifications are also a strong plus. 

Foreign language fluency (Russian/Arabic/Farsi/Chinese/Korean) desired.
