The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organization where D&I is explicitly recognized as a fundamental part of our organizational culture. The Diversity and Inclusion Intern will work with a team of passionate D&I practitioners who are engaged in strategy implementation efforts bank wide. The intern will report to the Diversity & Inclusion Manager, who reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources & Diversity and Inclusion. The summer intern will focus on projects/tasks that require a significant degree of creativity, risk-taking, thought leadership, research, organizing and multi-tasking.   • Research and prepare business case proposals that seek to enhance D&I alignment and efforts in various areas such as talent acquisition, organizational development, current D&I efforts and other areas of opportunity within the organization
  • Support idea exploration and implementation of the D&I communication plans, campaigns, etc
  • Support idea exploration and implementation of D&I related Bank event programming and activities
  • Support D&I data analytics and reporting efforts as needed
  • Support the Bank’s summer internship programming efforts as needed
  • Support tasks/projects aligned with the establishment of the Bank’s diversity council and business resource groups
  • Provide other relevant D&I team support as needed

  • A mature sensitivity to working with people of diverse identities and backgrounds
  • Skills for timely multi-tasking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with organizing logistics around events and programming
  • An understanding of the importance of D&I in a workplace setting
  • Seeking an undergraduate or graduate student with a passion and interest in the D&I space studying in areas such as business management, business administration, human resources, organizational development, sociology, international relations, community relations or other related fields of study
  • Internship experience in HR and/or D&I is a plus, but not required
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
