My client is a company located in the European centre in Brussels (Belgium). The company employs 80 people (highly intellectual environment) and has to be considered as a business catalyst in Europe for European industries and consumers and counts 43 members (countries, experts from the industries, etc).
Through their services they provide platforms for the development of European Standards and other technical specs. Since the continuous growth of the company they are looking for a new colleague to strengthen its Strategy & Governance unit.
This job is for a permanent contract in Belgium (Belgian contract).
The Project Manager Governance & Membership reports to the Director Strategy & Governance and provides support to the Governance to enable an efficient and smooth decision making in accordance with the strategy and agreed resources by the Governance.
Hold the secretariat of the company on policy matters (call for meetings, propose agenda topics, ensures timely provision of supporting documents, draft reports, follow up on actions, proposing ways to improve the discussions of these groups, etc)
Support the Director Strategy & Governance in the monitoring of the implementation of the strategy and identification of gaps to be addressed, and in the related reporting to the members and the governance
Ensure the identification of relevant strategic topics for yearly members workshop in line with their needs and interest, and is responsible for the organisation of the workshops (coordination, agenda, supporting documents, etc.)
Membership & Affiliation
Hold the secretariat of the Membership Committee (call for meetings, propose agenda topics, ensures timely provision of supporting documents, follow up on actions, etc)
Advise the members on the legal aspect related to the fulfilment of membership criteria
Support the affiliates to implement their rights and obligations
Responsible for the process of new membership (launch the process, coordinate the assessment, advise, accompany the candidate in the process and ensure a smooth process leading to timely and informed governance decision)
