- Lead strategic planning and delivery of ProVeg International communications and marketing in support of our mission to change the global food system.
- Raise the profile of ProVeg online and offline through targeted websites, campaigns, social and mainstream media, and the voices of key influencers.

- Engage and inspire a range of audiences – from our supporters and communities to those that support us with time or money, as well as partners, food businesses, and influencers.
- Coordinate with different teams in different locations.
Based on the organisational strategy and departmental operational plans, develop an overarching communications strategy focusing on effective, impactful, and target-audience-specific communications activities.
Use the power of stories, visual messages, branding, humour, and thought-provoking long-form pieces to reach diverse audiences.
Coordinate digital, social media, print, and press communications that are tailored for external audiences and colleagues.
Oversee a calendar of communications activities to support ProVeg’s mission and vision, increasing corporate and public engagement, and influencing behaviour change.
Ensure an integrated communications approach with the Fundraising Department in order to optimise user experience and increase individual and major giving.
Lead, manage, and motivate an international team of communication professionals.
Support heads of department and country directors in implementing their communications plans.
Build and maintain relationships with networks in the media, PR, and charity sectors.
Lead the delivery of key publications, including the Annual Report and impact reporting, as well as the promotion of high-profile stakeholder events and the maintenance of brand guidelines and key messages.
Act as a key person for all incidents and crises.
Work with external agencies and suppliers to provide creative, print, content, and consultancy services.
Ensure all communications are GDPR-compliant.
Raise the profile of ProVeg – inspiring supporters, volunteers, donors, partners, and influencers
Develop ProVeg’s language and communications to challenge negative perceptions of plant-based diets, increase the likelihood of significant reductions in animal consumption, and empower people to take action and support our work.
In collaboration with the Fundraising and KPI Manager, secure and share compelling case studies and make use of donor-centred approaches that support our charitable activities, as well as our profile and fundraising.
Support fundraising, as well as corporate and strategic partnerships, with communications and PR at a national and international level.
Showcase the views and voices of our target audiences and those we partner with through online and offline communication channels.
Act as a deputy spokesperson for ProVeg alongside the Chief Executive, Executive Management Team, International Head of Media, and Country Directors.
Organise campaign to create awareness, influence behaviours, and inspire lasting change
In collaboration with the Campaigns and Policy departments, define, develop, and implement international campaigns aimed at key food issues in order to raise awareness of ProVeg’s services, build support, and advocate for institutional change.
Together with the Research and Policy Department, influence change, advocacy, and opinion via participation in political and international institutional consultations, platforms, and forums.
Maximise insight and data from a variety of sources in order to articulate food trends and promote ProVeg’s impact on animals, the environment, and broader society.
Support stakeholder mapping and institutional relationships, including partners, funders, and public, private, and third-party organisations;
