The nonpartisan, nonprofit Arms Control Association is seeking an energetic, personable, organized, full-time administrative and member relations assistant to support the work of our team in Washington, D.C.
The Administrative and Member Relations Assistant will be responsible for assisting senior executive, development, and communications staff with database management, membership processing and member and donor relations, scheduling and organizing meetings (including those involving the board of directors), managing relations with vendors, maintaining office equipment and supplies, and greeting and assisting visitors to our office.
Position requirements: Candidates should have strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills especially MS Office and G-Suite, and familiarity with CRM database tools (such as EveryAction), prior experience in an administrative or assistant role, the ability to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines, and excellent organizational skills. Candidates must support the goals and the mission of the Arms Control Association.
