Position description


  • Acquires an understanding of insurance brokerage business and account servicing processes
  • Provide ‘best in class’ service and coverage solutions to international clients in the Pacific Series with support from senior staff
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses and uses the knowledge to successfully and professionally anticipate and address their needs; Ability to work independently with clients on routine assignments
  • Identify and request information required for market submissions, working with internal and external clients to secure and complete information
  • Determine appropriate markets for client-related coverage; maintain relationships with key international markets
  • Demonstrate professional / tactful negotiation and communication skills with markets
  • Implement and track all global / local policies for clients under management
  • Collect and review local policy summaries to ensure breadth / depth of local coverage; keep internal systems current
  • Provide coverage analysis, quote comparisons and renewal proposals to clients
  • Effectively manage global renewal dates, ensuring adequate timing for pre-renewal work and post-renewal follow-up
  • Maintain account open items lists and various information management systems
  • Develop sustainable and trusting relationships with colleagues and partners overseas
  • Bring global resources across business lines and verticals to our local associates
  • Keep a pulse on market and regulatory developments; disseminate information to internal and external clients
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Affairs or related field and/or experience equivalent
  • 1-4 years of experience with insurance coverage and service solutions for multinational companies on a worldwide basis
  • Firm grasp of English language with above average verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates and clients at all levels of responsibility
  • Knowledge of foreign language(s) and or experience working/traveling overseas a plus
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • Ability to travel worldwide
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
  • Legally able to work in the United States
