Position description

The Department of Political Science at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in political theory for academic year 2022-2023. The course load for the year can be either three or four courses depending on the preferences of the successful candidate. The courses will be upper-level, undergraduate courses in the subfield. The specific topics will be determined by the successful candidate in consultation with the members of the subfield. Preference will be given to those who teach central questions in the history of political thought. The expectation is that these courses will be taught in person.

Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Political Science or related field required. College/university teaching experience strongly preferred.
