As the convening arm of the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) brings together leaders from the public sector, private sector, and civil society to drive action and create partnerships to improve lives. To do this, CGI hosts both large-scale conferences (500-1,500+ attendees) and targeted events to spotlight and bring together the people, issues and solutions making a difference in communities around the world. Separating CGI from other conveners, year-round, CGI supports partners in our community and around the globe to develop Commitments to Action – new, specific and measurable projects that help address a specific challenge.
In coordination with the Deputy Director, Programming, the Event Programming & Design Manager will lead the planning and execution of content programming for CGI events. This position is charged with imagining, designing, and implementing CGI's conference programming, panel development, and content preparation for its year-round events. This position will play a critical role in helping CGI expand its programming to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges by elevating and spotlighting the diverse leaders, organizations and ideas at the forefront of the philanthropic and international development world. The Event Programming & Design Manager will bring fresh, inclusive and innovative ideas for conference and session design with insight into new trends. They will also be charged with developing topical programming that reflects and elevates the priorities of CGI and its various partners and commitment makers.
Successful candidates for this role will have strong writing and storytelling skills, experience in conference and event design, a global perspective, and will be excited to engage on challenges facing a diverse set of constituencies around the world.

Compensation & Benefits
Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $70 – 75K annually, depending on the experience you bring. This range is based on NYC market rates and may be adjusted if you will be working remotely.
