We are seeking a technical leader and analyst who has experience applying analytic approaches and solutions to tackle problems for which information is incomplete or for which no precedent exists. You’ll lead complex research and development projects when you join our team of hardworking engineers, scientists, and analysts who bring their diverse analytical and technical expertise to bear in solving system-level national security challenges facing the US and our allies. As a Lead Cyber Intelligence Analyst...
- Your primary responsibility will be to lead teams in applying intelligence processes and engineering to a variety of national security problems. You will apply your knowledge of the cyber domain and intelligence tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of data into high-quality findings.
- You will work with stakeholders to understand operational needs and collaborate with external teams to ensure systems under development meet the complex, varied operational requirements, while communicating technical risk and limitations.
- You will apply critical thinking and use feedback to improve processes, products, and services.
- You will prepare and present high quality briefings and written reports for executive leadership.
- You will utilize your expertise and experience to mentor and grow fellow team members and develop future leaders and technical experts.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in intelligence, data science, security studies, computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, systems engineering, operations research and systems analysis, or a closely related field. Other degrees such as political science, international relations, or library science are highly considered with related technical experience.
- Have demonstrated experience successfully leading large, technical teams.
- Have a strong background using multiple analytic tools, databases, and tradecraft (e.g., Analyst’s Notebook, A-Space, Anchory, M3, Maltego, divergent/convergent thinking, link charts, matrices, etc.)
- Have 15+ years of experience applying research and analysis methodologies to real-world problems.
- Have the demonstrated ability to present complex information, concepts, and ideas in a confident and well-organized manner to a wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Hold an active TS/SCI+Poly level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. - Have a MS or PhD in intelligence, data science, security studies, computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, systems engineering, operations research and systems analysis, or related field.
- Have 20+ years of relevant experience working in an intelligence or analyst role.
- Have knowledge of fundamental cyber operations concepts, terminology, principles, capabilities, limitations, and effects.
- Have experience applying Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning principles to analytical problems.
- Have experience with Publicly Available Information or Open Source Intelligence collection and analysis.
