Position description

Job Summary: 

To provide fact-based research and forward-thinking insight into peace and security issues related to Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigative research into current issues in policy, international relations, defense and security, economy and trade.
  • Track ongoing events including, inter alia, election, legislation, negotiation, conflict and crisis.
  • Interview subject-matter experts for research purposes.
  • Prepare research report, briefing, and presentation for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in research, government, military, intelligence or consulting.
  • Educational background in political science, international relations, security studies, geopolitics, law, or other related fields.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to stay informed about current events and latest developments related to the applicant’s specialized areas.
