We're looking for a communications officer to help us better tap into all of our great resources and engage more people with our story. This full-time position is based in ANERA's Washington, DC headquarters. The role will be pivotal in our small but nimble global communications team that produces a host of substantive content. Over the upcoming year, ANERA will be refreshing our brand, making this a particularly exciting time to join our team.
Reporting to the vice president of communications, the communications officer plays a vital role in all communications functions, including website updates, strategy and message development, design and creative services for online and print purposes, social media strategy and updates, email campaigns and editorial support. The officer uses analytical tools, such as Google Analytics and Convio reports, to identify opportunities and develop strategies. S/he also is a key player in ANERA’s search engine marketing efforts (SEO/PPC) and marketing campaigns aimed at boosting donor engagement and raising funds.
