Position description

The Program Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Program Manager, Fellow Recruitment in planning and implementing Social Venture Challenge (SVC) competitions in partnership with conferences, universities & colleges, and NGOs/nonprofits. The Program Coordinator, Fellowship Recruitment will also be responsible for onboarding provisional fellows into the Resolution Fellowship. The Fellow Recruitment Coordinator will also be asked to contribute to other internal programmatic initiatives in collaboration with the rest of the Resolution Programs team.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and ready to both proactively improve and build new systems and processes as well as be responsive to Fellow needs on an ongoing basis. In an effort to support our growing number of Francophone (French-speaking) Fellows and become a multilingual organization, we are seeking a candidate who is fluent in French with strong verbal and written communication in the language. The candidate should have a flexible schedule, and be prepared to join phone and in-person meetings earlier and later than regular business hours, including some weekends, and be willing to travel both nationally and internationally.

 

Key Responsibilities
Social Venture Challenges (SVCs)
Support the Program Manager in the planning of in-person and virtual SVCs, including but not limited to, preparing relevant competition documents and materials.
Compile data on SVC Winners for Salesforce import.
Work with the Program Manager to ensure effective data management, including updating records in Salesforce and tracking all relevant documents.
Provide coordination related to scheduling calls, setting up meetings, and, as needed, drafting agendas and taking meeting notes.
Other programmatic and general office administrative tasks as needed.

Onboarding Fellows
Onboard and manage the onboarding process for provisional Fellows into the wider Resolution Program, including scheduling and leading orientation calls, and reviewing submitted onboarding documents for completeness and accuracy.
Teach provisional Fellows what resources they have access to and how to access those resources within the Fellowship.
Collaborate with provisional Fellows to meet the terms set forth in Fellowship Offer Letters and connect them to the resources they need to meet those terms.

Supporting Francophone Fellows
Review and translate materials from English to French.
Prepare Fellows for a collaborative relationship with their mentors, internally known as Guides.
Work closely with our Francophone Fellows to advocate their needs and identify resources and opportunities in French to support their development and growth.

 

Qualifications

At least one year of relevant work or strong internship experience.
Proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Google Application Suites with a high level of general computer competency.
Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to both work well independently and seek support and points of escalation when needed.
High level of professionalism with good interpersonal skills to work closely with staff and volunteers, as well as external partners.

Preferred
Prior conference/event planning experience.
Familiarity/experience with Salesforce or other CRM (training available).
Experience in research and/or collecting data.
Experience in relationship management, especially with partners, volunteers, and/or constituents.
Strong written and communications skills.
Experience within the social impact/ social entrepreneurship space is a plus.

Eligibility

Candidates must live within commuting distance of the New York office or be willing to relocate within 90 days of the start of their employment.
