Position description

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Job Description Join a dynamic team that provides mission critical capabilities across a diverse portfolio of customers. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted business partner for one of the leading companies providing innovative solutions in defense electronics. This position offers a motivated professional a unique chance to work across a broad range of International Trade Compliance activities that supports the enterprise within BAE Systems’ Electronic Solutions Business Sector.

As An International Trade Compliance Import/Export Analyst, You Will Work With Customers To Shape And Close International Business Opportunities In Concert With Internal Objectives. Job Function Includes

  • Individual has knowledge of the current Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Individual provides assistance to the International Trade Compliance Department to ensure Company’s export related policies, procedures and practices are in compliance with U.S. Export laws and regulations.
  • Prepares export documentation such as export license applications and technical assistance agreements for review by the Export Compliance Manager.
  • Coordinates with program personnel to review provisos on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement.
  • Approves foreign travel and foreign visitors.
  • Participates in the investigation of any aspect of proposed export or temporary export by the Company to verify the legality of any transactions and the accuracy of the information to be submitted.
  • Participates in the development and presentation of export related training materials.
  • Provides BAE Systems and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
  • Maintains export related record keeping functions for the Company as required by law.
  • Participates in conducting internal compliance audits on a periodic basis.
  • Maintains export licensing records in EMS and/or other databases used for storing and tracking BAE Systems export licensing history and other reviews/approvals. When requested, prepares and distributes periodic reports on licensing status for use by Company personnel.
  • Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills.
  • Position to include air travel to various export conferences and required training.


     

This is a hybrid position with some in-office presence.




Required Education, Experience, & Skills
 

  • 0+ years with Bachelors degree; otherwise 4+ years
  • ITAR & EAR knowledge is desirable
  • Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and excellent organization/communication skills

     

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills 

  • Knowledge of OCR EASE global trade management software is preferred
